StrawZ Automatic results from the collaboration between Fat Beans and Sensi Seeds as part of the Breeding Grounds project. This strain is a 65% indica and 35% sativa developed by crossing Strawberry Z with Lowryder.

Growth pattern of StrawZ Automatic

StrawZ Automatic is an indica-dominant plant most evident in its growth pattern. Plants remain squat and compact, ideal for low-ceiling garden spaces or microgrows. The lineage consists of Strawberry Z and Lowryder, the latter being the original autoflowering genetic used to create the autoflower revolution. Because this plant is a feminized, automatic variety, growers do not need to change the light schedule to initiate flowering, and they will get all female plants.

The flowering time is up to 55 days once stigmas emerge. Stigmas usually show around week three, which means it is possible to go seed to harvest in 70 days with StrawZ Automatic. When grown indoors, this plant can attain a height of up to 39 inches, while outdoor plants may grow taller. StrawZ Automatic is a compact plant with short internodal spacing, which quickly fills with bright green foliage. Sturdy lateral branches support the numerous colas.

StrawZ Automatic can produce large yields of 250-300 grams per m² indoors. Outdoors have reported yields of up to 200 grams per plant in optimal conditions. Flowers form in large, olive-green nuggets covered with cannabinoid-filled trichome heads. Stigmas retreat into the densely swollen bracts and are scarce, but the intense amber color grabs the eye's attention. There is no need for plant training with this strain, which grows best outdoors in temperate regions.
